The Importance of Volunteerism

I recently joined the College Club of Niagara Falls.  A local organization that was originally founded in the 1920s by women supporting women who wanted to pursue a college degree.  The organization aimed to raise $500 each year for non-interest bearing scholarship loans to encourage worthy girls to attend college. This year with our recent fundraiser we were able to raise $8,000 and award 7 Niagara County high school seniors each a $1000 scholarship to pursue a higher education or trade school.  Congratulations seniors!  We wish you much success!  If you are looking to learn more about College Club, donate or participate or even have a senior looking to be an applicant, please reach out.
