Law enforcement represents about a third of my practice. I think what attracted me most to working with law enforcement is their ability to learn and become humble to the financial planning process. I have had the privilege to teach financial planning at the Niagara County Law Enforcement Academy, at Niagara Community College. With the vast amount of risk, they take on during their career it has been an exciting challenge to educate them on market risk and aligning their personal risk to their life goals. I have a background of family members in law enforcement including an uncle, a retired chief, that has been a huge inspiration to me.
